"The Place that Every Dog Dreams of"™
Meet The Team

Amanda
Hi! My name is Amanda and I started working in the pet industry in 2009 but was lucky enough to start at Arie's in 2016. I'm married with 2 daughters, 3 pups, and 2 cats. My first pet related job was at a boarding facility and the minute I started; I knew that this was what I was meant to do. On top of getting to work with others' pets, I've been a dog owner almost my entire life and treat every furry family member the way I'd treat my own. Being part of the Dogland family is amazing and it's a great feeling to know that we all genuinely care about every dog we meet. I've learned so much more about puppy behavior and socialization since starting at Dogland and it's incredibly rewarding to watch these sweet puppies blossom into confident, happy, and well behaved companions. I hope I get to meet your awesome four-legged friend soon!

Leah
Hi, I’m Leah! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and I am 100% that friend that just has to point out every dog I see! I am currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary social worker, because I have a passion for helping people and animals. That is a huge part of why I love working at Dogland so much; I love to help create an environment for happy pups and spend time with them. I truly treat each and every one of them as if they were my own dog, from the tallest wolfhoud to the smallest yorkie! I love all dogs, and I am so happy that I get the opportunity to work with them every day!

Mari
Hi, I’m Mari! I grew up as a devoted cat person, having indoor cats while also helping care for colonies of outside cats. Five years ago, I fully immersed myself into the dog world and have learned so much along the way! I met my dog, Frannie, while volunteering at Animal Welfare during a High-Level/Challenging Dog workshop, and I haven’t had a minute to myself since!! She’s a stunning Bull Terrier mix with a very big personality - I think the “mix” in her breed might be warthog.
Playgroup Supervisors

Levi
I grew up in Albuquerque, where ever since I was little was always surrounded with dogs and the outdoors which I didn’t know at the time but would be my favorite things as I got older. My bond with my dog is especially strong; I have a dog of my own (Sebastian). Our favorite thing is to go on adventures together especially hiking, he brings me immense joy. Working with dogs is fulfilling because it combines my passion for the outdoors with my love for animals. I am with both the Central Parkers and the Tiny Towners here at Dogland. Caring for dogs not only makes me happy but also allows me to help them thrive, exercise, and socialize to their hearts content!

My name is Janiva Randolph, I’m pursuing a career as a Veterinary Assistant. My role at Dogland involves providing top notch care and attention to all my furry friends. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.
Outsiders

Holly
Hi, my name is Holly, and my love for dogs started as far back as I can remember. I’ve devoted much of my adolescence to learning every aspect of the dog world, from different breeds and their unique characteristics, to behavior and communication. I love discovering new ways to shape behavior into something fulfilling for both the dog and myself.
As I grew older, my passion only deepened.
The people around me began to notice my dedication and enthusiasm, and through that support I was gifted a Belgian Malinois, Diesel. Together, we've shared countless adventures, and through him I've gained invaluable opportunities to grow and learn within the dog industry.
I hope to continue traveling, learning, and expanding my knowledge with my best friend by my side - because in this field, the learning never truly stops. *As Diesel rests in recovery at home from a leg injury, pictured with me is my Favorite Central Parker, Indie.

Sun-Jia
Sun-Jia grew up in Seattle, WA with herding dogs, specifically Australian Shepherds and Australian Cattle Dogs. She quickly learned that they needed a lot of stimulation and a job (or multiple). This began her training journey. She has competed in agility and nose work and has trained two of her dogs to be Psychiatric Service Dogs.
She has worked in multiple dog daycares and has done private training sessions with varying temperaments, behaviors, and sizes of dogs. Through positive reinforcement training, she has taught dogs basic commands, preparing for their Canine Good Citizen test, leash manners, and has helped reactive dogs overcome their fears.
She moved to the Albuquerque area in 2023 and lives with her partner and two rescue dogs, Z’Mochi (surprise, her first Golden Retriever) and Zero (an ACD), and a Dutch bunny, Dexter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, working out, and cooking.
Groomer

Xaviera
I have been working with dogs since 2010. I started as a dog bather for about a year, then became a dog groomer, been grooming since. I have four dogs, four cats, total of eight pets, tell me about it, but they keep me busy/occupied. I recently got married last year, and enjoy spending all of my extra time with my husband. I also have a Stanley cup addiction, hehe!
