Coming Soon: The Reactive Dog ONLINE Course

Do you have a “reactive” or leash-aggressive dog, who barks, growls, and lunges at other dogs while on-leash? Then this course is for you!
This is a 100% ONLINE course, aimed at helping the reactive dog become calmer and more composed in the presence of other dogs. This is a go-at-your-own-pace class, and gives you the tools to teach your dog to help him or her with their reactivity in a reward-based way. There will be a lot of homework in this class, but don’t worry… it’s mostly easy, and all fun! Your dog will thank you for helping him or her not feel so stressed (and reactive) in the presence of these stressors, and you will also learn to be able to relax again too with your dog on-leash!
This course is coming soon; send a contact form to be added to the list to be alerted once the course is live. Until then, we strongly recommend acclimating your dog to a head halter (this is one of the tools recommended in the course!) – Gentle Leaders are sold at Dogland, with the trainer’s how-to directions included on getting your dog used to wearing the head halter.
Price and more info coming soon.
Note: This course is not meant to have the reactive dog come in contact with any other dogs. Many leash-reactive dogs do not have the social skills, from lack of proper early socialization, to safely interact with other dogs. This should only be done in-person with a professional, in a safe and appropriate setting, and only if it is seen that your dog is suitable for close contact with other dogs.
